To conduct my research, I went to the Pennsylvania State Archives and looked through Record group 20 box one.  I looked at every document in the first two folders to find the most relevant ones and took pictures of all the relevant documents.  Next, I went online to look at old editions of The Patriot Newspaper from Harrisburg. I clicked on all the articles that looked relevant, and if they were, I saved them to my computer. I then sorted through the documents from the archive and the newspaper articles and choose the most relevant ones to include in this project.
